Call for Papers

The Korean Society for Literature and Religion invites abstracts for papers on the issue of “liberal arts educations in ‘post-truth’ era.” We are now thought to be living in an era of “post-truth” being overwhelmed by “fake news” and / or “alternative” facts. Given the fact that liberal arts education is designed to train their students to question biased assumptions and sources and challenge established precepts of thought by thinking critically and analytically, the role of liberal arts education cannot be overstated in this era of post-truth. Any topic related to this issue ? Literature, Religion, History, Philosophy, Science / Technology, Arts, Education, and any interdisciplinary field - is welcome for submission.

- Conference Language: English and Korean

- Abstracts should be submitted in MS Word (approx. 300-500 words) and should include contact information (email address, mailing address, phone number, affiliation institute, nationality, title and name of the author)

- Deadline for submission of abstracts: January 20th, 2018

- Notice of acceptance: by January 30th, 2018. (Abstracts will be evaluated through an anonymous peer review process.)

- Deadline for papers (6-10 pages): April 30th, 2018.

- Abstracts must be sent to kimchihunsj@gmail.com
